Not really, I'm trying different approaches but since it takes so long just to train a new deepfake, I can't really do a study on what works best.
Right now I'm trying switching warp off way earlier than I have been, as soon as the very basic face shapes are there. Doesn't seem to be hurting anything and maybe is going a little faster at least.

Still learning myself, Just over a week. I tend to do a quick merge and run the video to see if the face seems off at all. I view the warping phase as the shaping phase. If the face looks right in the video then I move toward a feature phase. I also don't pretrain models, I just grab one that's already pretrained and move straight into the shaping phase. That should help speed things up.
